The Rent Fairy was born from a simple but powerful idea, scribbled into a notebook by Sarah Elkordi during her early days in real estate. After more than a decade working across some of Sydney’s most recognised agencies, from business development through to property management, Sarah saw firsthand how overwhelming and disheartening the rental process could be.

 

She watched countless renters apply again and again, only to be overlooked, not because they were not good tenants but because they were not being positioned in the right way.

 

While landlords were naturally prioritised as paying clients, tenants were often left feeling invisible, despite being the very foundation of the rental market. That disconnect stayed with her. It became impossible to ignore the frustration, the long Saturdays spent rushing between inspections, the crowded open homes, and the disappointment of missing out time and time again.

 

What started as a vision to bridge the gap between tenants, agents, and landlords quickly turned into something much bigger.
